Using TeamWork with nested groups

TeamWork supports Active Directory nested groups when the following requirements are met:

• The TeamWork application server has been configured as described in Understanding Active Directory security problems.
• The domain is in Native mode. For several reasons, TeamWork does not support nested groups in Mixed mode.
• TeamWork is configured to browse for domain global groups as described in Configuring the BrowseForGlobalGroups setting.
• TeamWork is configured to browse for nested global groups with the BrowseForNestedGlobalGroups setting described in Windows registry keys.

Note    Using these settings might have a negative impact on performance.

Note    Nested groups are not supported for reserving licenses as described in Reserving licenses.
